Welcome to Dank Alert! By inviting, interacting with, or using the Dank Alert Discord Bot ("the Bot") and its associated website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Bot.

1. Non-Affiliation

Dank Alert is an independent, community-driven Discord bot created by independent developers. We are not a corporate entity, and we are completely unaffiliated with, not endorsed by, and not sponsored by the developers of Dank Memer or Discord Inc. All game assets, names, and references belong to their respective copyright holders.

Under no circumstances shall the developers or maintainers of Dank Alert be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Bot.

Crucially, we take absolutely zero responsibility if you:

• Receive a ban, blacklist, or penalty on the official Dank Memer bot.
• Experience any moderation action on your Discord account or within specific Discord servers.
• Miss out on in-game items, coins, or limited events due to Bot latency, bugs, or downtime.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your usage of Dank Alert complies with the official Dank Memer rules and Discord's Terms of Service.

4. Acceptable Use & Conduct

When using the Bot, you agree that you will not:

• Attempt to exploit, crash, or maliciously attack the Bot's infrastructure or databases.
• Use the Bot to spam, harass, or disrupt channels in Discord servers.
• Use the Bot in any manner that deliberately violates Discord's Developer Terms of Service or Dank Memer's official rules.

We reserve the right to permanently blacklist any user or server from utilizing Dank Alert for any reason, at our sole discretion, without warning or appeal.

5. Server Administrator Responsibilities

If you are a server administrator configuring Dank Alert for your guild (e.g., setting up server-wide Global Boost alerts), you are solely responsible for ensuring that the bot is outputting to appropriate channels and pinging appropriate roles. We are not responsible for "ping spam" or channel flooding resulting from your configuration choices.

6. Privacy & Data Tracking

By using the Bot, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy. The Bot utilizes a strict opt-in consent system for tracking user gameplay interactions. It is your responsibility to manage your own privacy settings via the provided Bot commands.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes may be announced in our support server, but it is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
